These terms and conditions govern your use of the MyPholyo website and services at mypholyo.com, operated by The Portfolio Method Ltd, trading as MyPholyo (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Who we are
The Portfolio Method Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, trading as MyPholyo. Our registered address is 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at hello@theportfolio-method.com.
Our services
MyPholyo provides a portfolio career mapping tool (the MyPholyo Mapper), personalised AI-generated reports, educational content, and a subscription app. Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over who are building or managing portfolio careers.
The MyPholyo Mapper
The free MyPholyo Mapper (formerly the Portfolio Audit) is an assessment tool designed to help you understand your income streams, energy levels, pricing, and visibility. The report generated is produced using AI and is intended as a starting point for reflection and planning. It does not constitute professional financial, legal, or career advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on your audit results.
Paid services
We offer a subscription product called MyPholyo. When you subscribe:
- Prices are £24.99 per month, or £150 per year, both in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month and can be cancelled at any time from your account settings
- Annual subscriptions run for 12 months from the date of purchase and do not auto-renew unless you choose to renew
- Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period. You retain access for the period you have already paid for
- Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please email hello@theportfolio-method.com within 14 days of your purchase if you believe a refund is appropriate
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers are protected at the rate they subscribed at for the duration of their current billing period
Intellectual property
All content on the MyPholyo website, including the MyPholyo Mapper framework, methodology, written content, branding, and generated reports, is the intellectual property of The Portfolio Method Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Your personal MyPholyo Mapper report is yours to use for your own purposes.
Acceptable use
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in your MyPholyo Mapper responses
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy our MyPholyo Mapper methodology or AI outputs for commercial use
- Use our services in any way that is unlawful or harmful to others
- Share your account access with third parties
Disclaimer of warranties
Our services are provided on an “as is” basis. While we take care to ensure accuracy and quality, we make no warranties that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results of using them will meet your specific requirements. The AI-generated MyPholyo Mapper reports are based on the information you provide and should be treated as guidance rather than definitive advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Portfolio Method Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
