Social and Content Creator

Freelance. London based. One month initial contract, extendable by agreement.

The role

We are looking for a freelance social and content creator to grow MyPholyo's presence on Instagram and LinkedIn, and to support our founder June's own channels. Your primary goal is simple: grow our audience ahead of launch.

The most important part of this role is not remote. You will spend two days a month on site with June, filming, and you will be on the ground at our launch events. Those sessions are the engine. Everything else you make comes out of them.

This is a hands on execution role, but you will not be working alone. You will build the content calendar with our CMO, develop ideas together, and every piece of video comes back to her for review and feedback before it goes out. You work to our brand guidelines and briefs, and you bring your own thinking. We are collaborative, not controlling.

One month to begin, extendable by agreement. We expect to extend for the right person: September and October are our two biggest months of the year and we would rather run them with someone who already knows us.

What you'll do

• Two days a month on site with June, capturing video for her platforms and MyPholyo
• Cover our launch events: the September soft launch, a founder speaking appearance in early September, and MyFolio Playground in mid October
• Turn each session into a month of short form content: cut, caption, brand, schedule
• Own the publishing calendar across Instagram and LinkedIn, three posts a week, and publish everything yourself
• Write captions in our voice. We will give you the house style guide on day one
• Manage the community: reply to comments and DMs, engage with the accounts we want to reach, and flag anything that needs a founder response
• Build us a library of repeatable, editable replies for the questions that come up again and again, so responses stay fast, consistent and on brand
• Repurpose what already exists: newsletter issues, ambassador clips, live sessions, press
• Report monthly on reach, engagement, follower growth and signups attributed to social
• Bring formats, hooks and trends that suit a senior, sceptical audience

How we'll work

• Clips from a filming day land with our CMO within five working days for review and feedback
• Content calendar and ideas are built together, in a standing session each month
• We approve in batches, quickly. You will not be waiting on us
• You supply your own camera or phone and editing software. Footage at 4K, 60fps, shot 9:16
• All footage, raw files and finished assets belong to MyPholyo and are handed over at the end of each month
• You are self employed, responsible for your own tax and insurance, and have the right to work in the UK

AI native, and we mean it

This one is non negotiable. We are a technology company and we work with AI every day.

• You use AI as a working method, not an occasional novelty. You build your own workflows for scripting, editing, repurposing and scheduling, and you are quick to try new tools
• You know that unedited AI copy reads like unedited AI copy, and you always do the human pass
• You can show us your stack and talk us through how you use it

What we're looking for

• Proven experience growing Instagram and LinkedIn accounts from an early stage
• Short form video end to end: shoot, direct a founder gently, edit, caption, publish. Confident in CapCut, Premiere or equivalent, and in Canva
• Comfortable capturing live events, working the room and finding the moment without being managed
• Sound judgement in a public inbox, and the instinct to systemise it rather than answer everything from scratch
• Strong writing in English. Our voice matters and a weak caption undoes a good clip
• Comfortable with two founders and a small team in a fast moving pre launch business
• London based. The filming days and the events are in and around London
• A feel for our world is a bonus: portfolio careers, fractional work, senior professionals, women in tech and finance
